I’m so confused with the current state of the world. It feels like things have rapidly deteriorated since Covid.

Genocides, wars, hunger, human trafficking … how is this even possible in today’s world? When will humans learn how to live peacefully together ? I’ve never felt more useless than now in my entire life. I feel like I’m living in a simulation where whatever I do or think, doesn’t matter.

I know that things have been worse in the past, but that’s no excuse for accepting the terrible situations happening today. Why is it always the people who have to pay the prices for the stupid decisions made by those in power ? Make it make sense.

When did human life lose all meaning? When did our society stop caring for one another? When did it all go wrong ?

One thing that shocked me recently was the lack of outrage since the Epstein files were released. Everybody saw them, but no one talked about them. Only time people talked about it was to make jokes or to retaliate after being teased on the internet.

But to be fair, The Epstein files case comes after the world showed its support for Palestine and called for Netanyahu to be prosecuted, without anything changing. If a global call for peace did not work, what will?

Do we need another pandemic for the world to be more compassionate? Do we need a economic collapse for the world to realise that we need each other? Or do we need to kill people like Trump or Netanyahu to gain peace ? It’s a genuine question because how do we fight for peace?

Discussions don’t work anymore. Actions don’t work anymore. International regulations? Not effective anymore.

What’s currently happening in Saudi Arabia, Israel and Iran could be the beginning of WW3. At the time, I thought that WW3 would have started with the war in Ukraine, but in the end, it didn’t escalate. Countries simply stopped doing business with Russia and moved on.

Many wars are currently raging, but the world keeps turning. What will happen if World War III becomes a reality? Will the world continue to function in the same way? Perhaps we’ll see a whole new type of influencers emerge? Those who create contents on how to survive in times of war. Those who will film dead bodies in the streets and end their videos with « Follow me for more ». Maybe there will be new TikTok challenges with new dances to « keep spirits up »? What will WW3 look like in the 21st century where human life has lost all meaning?

Are we fucked? I think so.
